Disinfect and Protect Male Luer Connections
The new patent-pending Curos Tips use 70% isopropyl alcohol (IPA) to passively disinfect and protect male luer connections on intravenous access devices including IV tubing and syringes.
- When Curos Tips are placed on male luer connectors Tips passively bathe the connector’s surface with alcohol. In three (3) minutes Tips disinfect the device. The effectiveness of Curos Tips were tested in vitro against Staphylococcus aureus, Staphylococcus epidermidis, Escherichia coli and Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Candida glabrata, Candida albicans.1
